Maxine & Toby, like many other couples over the last year, had to postpone & reschedule their wedding plans due to COVID, causing all sorts of stress and heartache.
Unfortunately, when they finalised a new date in November 2020, Maxine and Toby's original photographer wasn't available. Maxine contacted me through a recommendation. Thankfully, I was available!
In a very short space of time, Maxine & Toby, with the help of close family and friends, managed to organise what I can only describe as the most wonderful and intimate marriage & celebration of 2 lovely people!!!
The night before the wedding, it looked like their plans would be put on hold once again. Thankfully Boris's announcement that evening didn't put a stop to weddings, well, not until the day after Maxine & Toby's special day. Phew.
With a restriction of 15 people allowed at events and all venues closed, St. James Church in Cowley happily stepped in and allowed Maxine & Toby to use the church hall for a couple of hours.
Even with all the restrictions, the vicar and guests wearing masks, it was a very moving service. At the reception with tables spread well apart, the happy couple were able to share a toast and of course a slice of wedding cake with their guests & photographer......very yummy it was too!!!
